Thigh Master Baby
The heart looks great. Measurements came in saying the due date is Aug. 12th, but Dr. says we will keep the 13th for the due date. Ryan was able to see the baby's feet really good and see toesies and all that jazz. I can't see the monitor from across the room very well, and Dr. T, wasn't able to snap a clear pic. So, I couldn't really see them. :^( I got four, rather poor pics that I couldn't decipher a whole lot from. I don't plan to post them, but I might next month. I really wished Dr. could have gotten a shot of the thigh master baby in action. You could see both legs out perfectly straight together, squeezing the thighs shut. No peeking! Dr. T. also that in 4 weeks he will get another U/S to see if baby is done exercising the thighs and will let us look. I asked him about a 4-D photo and he said at 28 weeks we will try to get a face photo. He would have this time but he said, "the baby looks like a martian right now. Let's wait until he/she looks more like a Gerber baby." So more or less the next 2 appointments I will get an U/S.
I also asked him about the heart issue. He was concerned about the 140 rates, and said if this persists we should probably have me see the cardiologist. Money money money...... I am sure its a sinus tach, and stress induced--- but I am almost finished with my deductible and will get more coverage by my insurance anyways. Ryan thinks I should check it out. Hopefully it won't happen again and we won't have to worry.
Dr. T also solved one mystery for me, but I think I already had it figured out, I just need him to clarify. The placenta is safely towards the front on my uterus (belly side not back side) and thus creating a heavy blanket in the front, and so that is why I am not feeling my little peanut moving as much as I did with Luke. I had the notion that that was the reason why, I just wasn't for sure. Which is a relief because my other idea was not a good one.
So hopefully we will have some good pics coming in the next couple of months! :) I was bummed about the poor quality of pictures I received today. I will be honest and tell you that I was so selfish that I cried that I couldn't get a foot picture. I was looking forward to that one. But honestly, my baby is healthy and growing. why am I being that selfish? I should be elated that he/she is doing so well!!! So I put on a better face, and looked and my not great pictures and decided that on the femur picture you can see the foot on one leg and most likely the toes, and on the Abdomen measurement picture you can see the left hand and all 5 fingers. Then I started to feel better. And Ryan treated me to some yummy Mexican food, and let me get the expensive guacamole dip for our chips and salsa! Yum! And now, all though extremely tired, I feel happy and at peace with the appointment, and I wish 4 weeks would fly by quickly! Hee Hee.
So I also am going to note that we are wanting to take a trip, after we hopefully get the gender found out, to Omaha. So, Sarah, in May sometime we might have to plan a shopping day!!!?? I am already excited about it. Ryan is wanting to go to a poker tournament at the casinos, and that is an all morning/afternoon event. We could have a wonderful afternoon getting some great baby supplies, that is, if you think you can manage it with your due date coming shortly around the corner then. Anyways, let me know!!!
Well I found out what I was needing to know about the Twilight movie, and so I got the 1st movie and plan on watching it right now, while Luke naps. Or I might take a nap too. I am so tired today!
Love,
Cindy

Everyday Strides
Luke-- Next week is his 2nd B-day!!! Wow such a big boy!!! I am sad and excited at the same time. We will just have family here for cake and ice cream. No big party this year. I am trying to figure out if I should bake his cake or find some one to do it for me? Not sure.
Baby-- still no big continuous movement cycle. Just a few squirms here and there are all I feel. Names: Levi James, and Jeremiah David are the toppers right now, no definite. Girls on the other hand, I feel really unsettled and a strong dislike for all of the name I had liked before, so I am back to square one. This Thursday is our BIG day. Lets hope this little one is agreeable for Dr. T. I am getting so excited for our appointment! 4 days!
Me-- Cold is better, I had a heart spell at work again. 140's and I was short of breath, diaphoretic and dizzy. I plan on talking to the Dr. about this to see if there is something I should be watching more. I know that this has reared it ugly face before and it eludes to a lot of dollars being shelled out for no necessary reason. Precaution, you think, I should just check, well when I have heard it 2-3 times already what it is and that I really can't do anything about it, what's the point of emptying my pockets out. I don't know. We'll see what doc thinks.
I am reading the Twilight series, now on New Moon. I have to say that I really am enjoying the books. The characters have encapsulated me. I am curious to see the movie. I am wondering if the movie is just the over first book or if it covers all 4 of the books. If someone knows please let me know. I would hate to spoil the books if it is over the whole series.
House-- Ryan is upstairs right now clearing/cleaning up the demolished walls that were!! I hope to go upstairs to help install insulation this afternoon while Luke is napping! Woohoo! We are using a plastic wrapped insulation, very nice!! I need to go dig in the basement for my mask so I don't breath any dust in! I am excited how we are coming along!
Plans- I guess the thing that we are planning is the US Thursday. Tonight we are going to benefit supper and concert for a pastor that is undergoing cancer treatments. I work Mon-Wed. But well absolutely find time to at least post what we found out at the US-- if we can see! ;)
Have a good week. Stay warm with this cold/snowy weather heading our way!!!

Cindy vs. Ucky Bugs
We are possible going to Kearney today. I have a few plans on my purchases today. I would love a browse through Hobby Lobby. I haven't gotten much there for a while now. I also Have a few books I am planning to purchase. The girls at work have STRONGLY recommended the Twilight series. I think I might delve into them myself. I am not a vampire fan, but I have heard so much good stuff, I might check it out.
Last few nights I have actually felt the baby's body; like the lump was on one side of my abdomen than the other. Way neat! Ryan and I are narrowing down the names. We have 4 for girls and 6 full names pick out for boys! Huge improvement! I feel much better!
I don't really have much else to share right now. Have a great day! Stay warm!!!

Thank God for Kids
So went to the doctor yesterday. Just a heartbeat check. 140bpm and a few kicks heard. Totally neat. The appointment lasted oh... 19 minutes, from the time I arrived to the time I got back to my car! Wow! Dr. T said that they prefer to do the 20 week US exactly at 20 weeks. I was so excited, I go back on the 26th!!!! 20 days from now, maybe I will find out this little ones gender!!!! Woohoo! I will definitely be counting down the days!
We are planning a trip to Lincoln or Omaha after that, and it just so happens that they have a Carters store in Gretna. They have TONS of cute cute cute baby clothes! If I find out this is a little girl, Ryan watch out, that cart is going to be full! If its a boy... I still plan on getting a few new outfits for my new addition, but we have an attic full of little boy clothes.
I am getting so excited!
My body. Man the clothes are pushing the limit. I have practically 1/2 the amount of pregnancy tops that actually fit anymore. I am s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g. It is not the greatest feeling. Definitely different than with Luke. I had it checked out last week so I could be sure the baby was OK. Yep! I am having round ligament pain. Well that's fantastic! But really, I am relieved that nothing is really wrong, I can so deal with this knowing that little one is okay in there. I am getting a lot bigger, a lot sooner. I have gained 5 pounds total so far. Also, the appetite has returned with a vengeance-- stay out of my way at the buffet line! "Prego gal coming through!!" Not really, I just have a constant urge to munch all the time! Must... stop.... now........
We went to an Oak Ridge Boys concert last night. It was a lot of fun! Man they are so good! Not to mention their ages either, like 60's?
Luke has had the flu, last two day he has been sick. Poor guy. I hope he feels better today. Speaking of which he is hollering for his Momma. So I better wrap this up.
We are all doing great here, getting excited for the little one, and just enjoying life. Hope you are too!!!
God Bless

At Last
So life. Sigh, not enough time to share all that I have been feeling lately. Maybe I shouldn't even delve into that whole conversation, It could take awhile.
Anyways, preggo symptoms are mellowed out. I am feeling this little one move, but no great punches or kicks, they are very few and far between when felt. We are scoping out different names. Coming up with some crazy/different ones, when we have them kinda narrowed down I will share. I am in Love with Adaleen, but today I thought of Jovie, or Novie (for a girl). I am not such what Ryan will say to the last two. Still in the beginning stages with the names so hopefully more on that topic later. However, I am not so in love with the pregnant body. I am really bummed right now. Tummy is sticking out due to baby, but it's the fat roll above my baby bump that is obvious and showing, NOT my baby. Argg...
The emotional roller coaster is in service this week. I am on board for never ending trips on it. I feel so compelled to want to be very selfish, and say "It's not fair. I am pregnant." That thought came too many times this week. Bawled many a day for stupid reasons. I just feel ugly, stupid, and like I can't do anything right. Alright, that's about all the more I will share on that topic. On Friday I went to Bible study, and decided giving those feelings to God to help me out. It really helped.
Work today, I think I forgot to pray before, because Phew... It was a crazy place. Left there around 845 tonight. To be back again at 0645. I hate days like that. Lots of prayers going up tonight and tomorrow morning before work starts. Yeah.
Luke Daniel is my little sponge of communication skills this week. He has said so many things I don't think I can remember them all. He is saying:
Luke (finally!)
Beau
Door
Wall
Eye-- for crying, poor kid watched me do that one to many thims this week.
I know there are tons more but I am forgetting them. I so proud of my big boy!!!
Well, I will be better at posting, I promise! I hope to get a banner up that matches my new St. Patty's Day theme background. We will see how soon that all works out.
Love

Baby Tullis Debut
Please remember to mute the playlist on the right sidebar of my blog first. I know the song is talking about a little boy, but I have one of those, and well, there is a 50/50 chance this one is too. So there it is. Hee Hee. It is late and I really REALLY want to post TONS more. Arg. But it is insanely past my bed time, and well, If I don't stop now I will be up until 100. So I bid thee a fond farewell.
Wishing to tell you all more!

Randomness
Did you know that deer do not make very good dogs? They just don't listen very well. I found this out at my last Bible study. One of the sweet gals that was hosting this weeks study had an adopted pet deer. Well, I am unsure of how the whole thing came about, but they are still bottle feeding the dear thing. Luke loved petting the deer. The deer was so friendly and loving until.. duh duh dunnnn..... Our departure. The darn thing kept putting it's front hooves on my shoulders.. At first I was stunned, but I was trying to shield Luke from the deer and was trying to make it through the bitter snowy cold, the deer wouldn't stop. I just couldn't get far. The hostess and her dog came to Luke and my rescue. Phew. I am sure it was quite comical, I was just nervous walking down a set of stairs with a deer on my back and a child stumbling down in front of me.
On to other things. Sigh.... I Love Scrapblog. I know you all have heard quite enough of that, but that is where this darling header came from. I wish I knew how to make thinner ones.. In time I will. I love seeing my Babies. Aww. Babies. I love that. My big boy and my sweet little peanut.
Who I am amazed at the time frame. 12 weeks. (Sarah you are right) time is zooming. Maybe it helps though keeping it a secret for 2 months. I don't know. One thing I am happy to share. The M/S is fading away. Yippee! I am afraid to post that as it may jinx me. :) On the downside. I lack that, "oh yeah I am so pregnant" feeling without it. I also feel like I was sporting a baby bump a lot sooner last time. Well I, the whole shift of fat after Luke might be what is hiding a beautiful baby tummy. I am having trouble sleeping, and as Dr. J has told me before, my uterus is tilted backwards-- thus back pain. Check got that. Thankfully, I don't have that horrible tail bone pain like I did with Luke. I would have to say this pregnancy is probably a lot easier so far. I got a call today, I have to bump my appointment back to the 3rd at 1100 due to some Dr. scheduling thing. So we will see how Tuesday goes!!
Luke and I played in the snow today. I will post pictures of the fun later, hopefully. Luke really liked tromping through it, however, when his hands got to it. It was "mess" "mess", trying to wipe his snow covered gloves off. Very cute.
We are working on packing up the upstairs and moving it down to the basement, or rather I pack, Ryan moves. We are going to start on that project soon. We have to get a new room ready for the big brother!!
This weekend we are going to continue to pack/move and the family is going sledding and Sunday we are having a Super Bowl party. I think I have a lot of great picture ops coming we will see if I actually get the camera out.
Enjoy the snow!!!

Seeing is Believing

You have to be very imaginative, but can't you just see where the little arm and legs are? I sure could! :) This was my 8 week appointment. Being my second, maybe they don't get very detailed, but I felt like the appointment left me feeling like it wasn't as magical as I expected it to be. I will say that when you see the little light flashing of the baby's heartbeat still made me tear up, but I just didn't get to see much, the NP didn't offer much information or "look here," or much of anything. I really do hope for better treatment from here on out. The NP was very nice, but not what I was expecting.

Healthy Family plan-- good/not great. We have been packing lunches and eating healthy until we are together and eat out. No no no! Exercise for Ryan is going Great. Me. I think I had better get outside and enjoy this nice weather. This plan consists of a non existing chart I need to get done, and placing stickers on the chart for every day we eat healthy and exercise. Every 10 stickers we award ourselves 20 dollars and put it in the massage/spa fund. Once we have what we need for a massage, we can schedule one! I LOVE hot stone therapy massage, but I probably will have to stick with the pregnancy massage or a manicure or something like that. Oh yeah each individual is awarded there own 20 dollars at the 10 day mark. just to clarify. If I ever get the chart done I will take a pic and post it!
Well I feel a little better now that I have had a chance to catch up. Off to make dinner and clean the house up! I love the fresh air coming in from my open windows! Awesome!
Whisper Whisper
I plan to come back later and share more, I just have things to get done today. I hope you all are enjoying the beautiful weather the Midwest has been having, in the WINTER months. Well, more later!

I work tomorrow. Work is changing. Change at work sometimes scares me. I am going to continue to pray its for the best, but I am nervous.
Morning sickness-- no throw up but the constant nausea, is tiresome. I had a few days of it during our vacation. Not fun. Overall the trip to Branson was fun. I got some cute clothes and serving dishes and a new white jacket to wear with maternity shirts, because I am not buying a bunch of maternity tops... sigh.
I feel all sorts of melancholy today. I feel really excited for this little one, and I don't feel that it is a shared excitement. I talked about it, we are both in agreement that we are blessed that we are. I just am not focused on the work to prepare. I guess. That's all it ever is. I think that is how most are. I just want the all smiles jumping up and down excitement, not the worried/happy excitement. I am not thinking practical I suppose.
Ryan and I are starting a HEALTHY Family plan. I am trying to make up some name tags for my graph I am making. I am excited, to do this, today i just don't care about a lot.
I must say that I know there has been all clear signs for months now, I am still nervous about Ryan's Dr. Appointment today. What if now that we have little one on the way there is a positive tumor marker. Ahh.. Quit borrowing trouble Cindy.
On a positive note my little peanut is about the size of a medium shrimp!! Grow Baby Grow!
We have been starting the mental list of possible baby names. We have pretty much decided that we would like to go with biblical names. Although Luke Daniels name wasn't planned that way, it ended up that it is all biblical names, and thought maybe that theme was a good road to go down. We will see. I am on the fence about it. There are a few names I like that are not biblical.
Well I guess I had better get some things done. Good day everyone!

Life of a Pregnant Mommy.
I am tired though. Nighttime is when I usually get my most ambition to do SOMETHING, and I tucker out quickly. I have passed out every night. So exhausted. I even have gone to bed before Luke. How sad is that?

I made the card on Scrapblog. I love that website. you have to check it out sometime!!
Speaking of boy/girl issue. Its a boy. I know it! I just have that feeling. If not, well that just great too. I just see it being in this order boy, boy, and girl. I don't mind either way. I am nervous about a girl. I sure it will be fine though! Man I love being pregnant! I am so excited. I did buy a girl toddler shirt. Ryan wasn't very happy about it though. Oh well!! It was pink with gray dots on it with a gray ribbon around the waist, and has a gray long sleeve shirt underneath with a little ruffle on the end of the sleeves of both the gray and the pink shirt. too cute, and it was on clearance for 5 bucks. Ryan doesn't want me to buy stuff for a baby girl or a boy, until we know what it is..... Grrr... That frustrates me, but I still get some things and just take the grumbling. I still have the little dress and sweater I got for when we were pregnant with Luke, I told him I would return it or give it as a present, I didn't have the heart to. Its so cute, and I just have to keep it Just in Case! I promise that it will be used, when? I don't know but it will be. Ryan said "what if none of your friends have a girl?...... uhhh.....? I am sure Someone will!!! Crazy boy! Anyways, I still plan on buying things that are on sale and just deal with some noise from my big guy. :)Me: "Guess what Brentney?"
Brentney: "What?"
Me: "You're going to me an aunt again."
Brentney: "How?"
Me: "I am going to have another baby."
Brentney: looking at my belly "You are? I hope it's a girl... or a
boy"Me: "Me too!"
Brentney then pats my belly and cups her hands around her mouth and places
her hand on my belly and says "Hi baby, I hope you are a girl or a boy."She then informs me that if it is a girl her name should be Rosie. ----I am
not so sure about that. Hee hee.

Merry Christmas!!
Most of all we thank God for sending Jesus to be born and later die for our sins. Thank You!
Well, I am very tired, I have some great things to share, and I really really really want to go into great detail, but I am to tired and my 1000 pm bedtime is approaching very quickly. So, I will just lay it out straight, and share more details, hopefully tomorrow! WE are Pregnant!!! Yippee! I am 7 weeks along, and had to wait to share our big news until I told the folks-- it was a great Christmas gift. Explain more later. Anyways, the Due date is August 13th. Our Anniversary. More Later.
Have a great Christmas Night!!
Blessings to you and yours!

Weary and Unproductive
My List
Blog entry.Done wo hoo!- Laundry-- folding and putting away.
- Sweep and mop kitchen.
- Get a plan for Christmas Eve supper dishes ready. (Nervous about this one, first holiday at our house. Eeep! I am hoping Ryan's small family gathering will go well, and be able to have my bigger family gathering here for another holiday. I hope we have enough room! I am sure we will make due!)
- Call Holly about Christmas Eve
- Get bills paid
- Get some Christmas card out!
- Clean bedroom.
- Scrub toilet--- yuck.
- Take trash out. Even more yuck
See how I cleverly placed the yucky ones on the bottom... Maybe I won't be able to get to them and Ry... ahem. Excuse me, I will have to do it some other time. So, I had better just get it done sooner so I don't have to mess with it at 900 tonight when I am getting everything settled for my work weekend. On to more interesting things.
The Direct TV man is coming today! I am kinda excited, I love watching HGtv at work during my lunch break so, I will probably have it tuned there at times. Also, I will need to check out the kiddies channels. That's what I am not so excited about. I am nervous about getting a stony TV faced child, who get sits there, and me not realizing how terrible its getting will allow it. Ahh. No I will shut the !&#* thing off. I will not do that!! I am going to try my hardest. Luke runs around and plays so well, I don't want him time warped into the t.v. I don't want to be that either! However, I am excited to watch some prime time shows, like biggest loser and there are a few others that I see on the T.V. when I am leaving from work that I think hmm... that looks good. Ryan doesn't like prime time, however we are getting a super deal which we are getting a DVR. I am stoked to be able to record my shows. So I hope that goes okay. It has been over a year since we have had t.v. I actually didn't mind it but my hubby is missing the football games and news... Eh. No big deal to me. We went to his folks and stared at their t.v. for hours watching football. It was nice to hang out over there, I just hated it being for that reason.Well I better get my list started so I can be done with it sooner! Have a great day!

PlayTime
So that was neat. My father in law took pictures so I will post some whenever I get them.
Today is Christmas decorating day. I will see how helpful the little dude is. We are going to decorate all except the tree... because we don't have it yet. We have to wait for more snow to make the tree hunting process more fun. It's our tradition to go after a blizzard/big snowstorm, like RIGHT after it, the road are probably not meant to be on then but Ryan is too adventurous. Since Luke's arrival we have waited until the snowstorm was over and everything calmed. My blog ID picture was Luke's first Christmas experience. The one before Luke..... I was pregnant. And Emotional, and cried that we were taking the tree from its family. WOW! That was funny after I had Luke and realized how silly it was.
So, I look forward to getting hot chocolate for us and chocolate milk for Luke and candy canes and driving through the pastures to look for that perfect Christmas tree.
What traditions do you have during Christmas time?
